The scientific study of living creatures' interactions with one another and their surroundings in the setting of an urban environment is known as urban ecology.
The term "urban environment" refers to the area dominated by high-density residential and commercial structures, paved surfaces, and other urban-related elements that form a landscape that is unlike any previously studied ecosystems in ecology.
